Life of a salmon

The lifecycle of salmon plays a big role in bringing nutrients from the ocean back into rivers and wildlife. Though it varies from species to species, they all have a similar story…

Baby is fertilized and born in the quiet river upstream. Ready for adventure! This little salmon is on its way to the sea. Migration begins! Ocean life is fabulous. The journey back home is exhausting but so worth it. Time to go back upstream to meet my mate.
