CHARACTERISTICS: Alaska Pollock is a member of the cod family. Pollock have a strongly-defined, silvery lateral line running down their sides, with white bellies.
HABITAT: Fish farms for Alaskan Pollock do not exist since all Pollock is wild caught in the ocean.
WEIGHT: 1-3.5 pounds
LENGTH: 12-20 inches
LIFE CYCLE: 15 years
